AV Arcade Pro 5.2 released

AV Arcade Pro 5.2 is now available in the customer area. It is the biggest update yet to AV Arcade Pro with a number of new features and refinements.

With a large update comes incompatibility. Note that old templates will not support the new features and you will need to reinstall mods (of which, some may need updating to be compatible). Version 5.1 remains on the store, so you don't HAVE to upgrade.

Here is the big list of additions:

User referral
Highscore support
News comments
Facebook connect
Report games and comments
Ads before games & Ad manager
Social bookmarks & short URL's
reCaptcha on signup
IP address tracking and search
Reorder categories
Publish/Hide games
Images in modules
Can decide if a page appears in the menu
Date added for games & comments
Edit 'points' values in admin
Mochi jigsaw category
Sort member list
Comment flood protection
And many minor fixes

This is a free update for all current customers. As planned, the price for new licenses has been increased. The new pricing is:

$19 for a single license
$29 for 2 licenses
$50 for 5 licenses ($10 a license)

Hopefully the prices wont backfire on me horribly

Excellent news! I've been waiting eagerly for this ^_^ And sorry I had no time to BETA test..

Finally I can get on with a few of my arcade ideas ^_^

Great work Andy! I don't think the price will backfire - it's totally reasonable, and still very cheap for the script!

This is fantastic. If you have not purchased this script, you should.
Lots of great features.

And even for 19$ a license its a bargain.

Its good. But, the main site. Is all glitched the content boxes dont display properly in Google chrome.

Man, I was really excited. Until i noticed that in the ava_leaderboards table, the leaderboardid is not post to be int(5) try more like varchar(125).

You might want to fix that quickly.

I haven't come across any games that don't use a number for their leaderboard id. Do you know of any games that don't use numbers for the ID?

Wow that looks really cool. Wish I had the time and energy to upgrade. I could use some of those features.

By the way, you should probably update http://www.avscripts.net/avarcade/freearcadescript/ so people don't get confused. (it still says $10 for pro)
